Terms of Use
Please read these Terms carefully. By using this website, or by registering for or taking part in our sessions, workshops, guides or other offerings, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

1. Who we are
This website and its offerings are provided by Yoga Shakti with Ashish Anant (“we”, “us”, “our”). In these Terms, “you” means the person using the website or our services. You can reach us at yogashakti@ashishanant.com.
2. Acceptance & changes
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and us. We may update them from time to time — for example, as our offerings evolve or the law changes. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, always applies. Continuing to use the website or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding contract, to use our services on your own behalf. Anyone under 18 may take part only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
4. Our content and services
We share yoga, pranayama (including Nadi Shodhana), meditation, and related teachings — through this website, guides, self‑reflection tools, live online sessions and workshops. All of it is offered for general educational and wellbeing purposes only. Details, schedules and availability may change, and some offerings may be added, paused or withdrawn at any time.
5. Health disclaimer & assumption of risk
Our content and sessions are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis or treatment. Using this website or taking part in our sessions does not create a doctor–patient or other professional healthcare relationship.
Yoga and breathing practices carry inherent risks. Before beginning, please consult a qualified physician — especially if you are pregnant, elderly, recovering from surgery or injury, or living with any heart, respiratory, blood‑pressure, psychological or other medical condition. Practise within your own limits, never force the breath or body, and stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, breathlessness or discomfort.
You take part voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, harm or loss arising from your participation or from following any content on this website.
6. Sessions, workshops & bookings
To join a session or workshop you register through the forms provided; joining details and links are then shared with you (for example, through a WhatsApp group). Timings, formats and teachers may change, and we may reschedule or cancel a session where necessary. To keep the space safe and respectful for everyone, we may decline or end anyone's participation at our reasonable discretion.
7. Fees, payments, taxes & refunds
Some offerings are currently complimentary. Where a fee applies, it will be shown to you before you pay, and by proceeding you agree to pay it.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise, and are exclusive of applicable taxes (such as GST) unless stated to be inclusive. Any such taxes are payable by you in addition.
- Payments may be collected through third‑party payment processors. We do not store your full card or bank details, and we are not responsible for the acts, delays or failures of those processors, though we will help resolve genuine issues where we can.
- Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, or required by law, fees are payable in advance and are non‑refundable once a session or workshop has begun or a digital item has been delivered. Any cancellation, rescheduling or refund terms shown at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase.
- We may change our prices at any time; changes do not affect purchases already completed. Introducing a fee for an offering that was previously complimentary is at our discretion.
- You agree not to misuse payments — for example, by raising an unjustified chargeback. We may suspend access where a payment is reversed or disputed without valid cause.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website and in our sessions, workshops and materials — including text, teachings, images, photographs, audio, video, guides, tools, graphics, the “Yoga Shakti” name, logo and other marks — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may view and use it for your own personal, non‑commercial practice only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, adapt or create derivative works from it, and you may not record, screen‑capture or re‑share our live sessions or workshops, without our prior written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website and our services lawfully and respectfully, and not to: disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems; scrape, harvest or misuse data; upload anything harmful or unlawful; impersonate others; or behave abusively toward our teachers, staff or fellow participants.
10. Recordings & confidentiality
Sessions may occasionally be recorded by us for teaching or promotional purposes; where they are, we will let participants know. Please do not record, photograph or share any session, or the personal details of other participants, without their and our consent.
11. Testimonials & content you share
If you send us a testimonial, question or other content, you confirm it is your own and true, and you give us permission to use and lightly edit it (for example, for length) to share on our website and channels, with attribution by first name and location unless you ask otherwise.
12. Third‑party links & services
The website links to third‑party services — such as YouTube, Google Forms, WhatsApp and payment providers — which have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or conduct; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
13. Privacy
Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy note, which explains how we handle your information in line with applicable Indian data‑protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
14. Availability & “as is”
We aim to keep the website and services available and accurate, but we provide them “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or any particular results from the practices.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us (if any) for the specific offering giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website or services, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or withdraw your access to the website or any offering, without notice, if you breach these Terms or where we reasonably need to. Clauses that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply after any termination.
18. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the dispute‑resolution step below.
19. Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises, please contact us first — we will try in good faith to resolve it amicably. If it cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, it will be subject to the courts at Delhi, India as set out above.
20. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a reorganisation or transfer of our activities. These Terms, together with the Privacy note, are the entire agreement between us regarding the website and services.
