About Yoga Shakti
Yoga Shakti is a space to come back to yourself.
Rooted in the wisdom of the Yogic and Tantric traditions, the practice works through movement, conscious breath, stillness and inner awareness to restore our natural state of balance — creating the conditions for greater wellbeing, healing and inner harmony.
The teachings are grounded, systematic and unhurried. Whether the journey begins with strength and mobility, energy, stress, sleep, focus or simply the desire for a calmer mind, the practice meets you where you are — from beginners taking their first steps in Yoga to seasoned practitioners seeking to go deeper.
The journey begins with the body and breath. But it does not end there.
Awaken the “Shakti” within
In the Yogic and Tantric traditions, Shakti is the dynamic power of life — the force through which consciousness manifests, moves and transforms.

“It is through Shakti that Shiva — pure consciousness — acquires the power to manifest; without Shakti, Shiva cannot even stir. Such is the greatness of the Divine Mother Shakti, worshipped even by the highest of the Gods, that to bow before Her or sing Her praise is itself the fruit of great merit.”
— Saundarya Lahari (Sri Adi Shankaracharya), Verse 1
Yoga Shakti draws inspiration from this understanding: what we seek is not always something to be acquired from outside. Through sustained practice, we gradually create the space to recognise the balance, awareness and potential that already lie within.
The path
The body is an important beginning — not the destination. Rooted in the Guru–Shishya tradition, the yogic practices — Nadi Shodhana, pranayama, and meditation — are taught the way they were meant to be learned: slowly, safely, and authentically.
Asana steadies the body. Breath influences energy and mind. Stillness creates space for awareness. Over time, practice moves from the physical towards the subtler relationship between body, breath, energy and mind — and gradually turns our awareness within.
Practice. Experience. Transform.
The lineage
Yoga Shakti is grounded in the Guru–Shishya Parampara — a tradition in which knowledge is transmitted not through texts alone, but through guidance, sadhana and direct experience.
Ashish Anant teaches as a direct disciple of revered Tantra Masters — Ma Shakti Devpriya Anandnath ji and Acharya Agyaatadarshan Anandnath ji — carrying a living tradition into everyday practice. He has also received the blessings of Yoga Param Guru Shri Balendu Giri Maharaj ji. Read about our Guru Mandala →
